@T4gg4rt If I got your general need right, you would like to capture one source, but would like to drive two type of LEDs, correct?
With Hyperion classic you required two hyperions and forwarding. With Hyperion.NG you only need one installations (but two Instances with Hyperion configured) and no forwarding. If I got this right, then you should not ask for quicker forwarding, but how to better use Hyperion.NG capabilities to even reduce complexity in your setup.
Suggest you look at the overall setup with a fresh pair of eyes -
If you disable the LedDevice via the Remote Control Screen, do the LEDs turn off?
-
Kannst Du heute schon.
@sand04 To be clear, the features I am talking about are only available in Hyperion NG.
-
@NeeeeB Unfortunately, it looks like that...
Just wanted to be on the save side. -
Are you running hyperion classic or Hyperion NG?
All comments are in relation to Hyperion NG. Classic is not supported any longer. -
@sand04 Just that we are on the same Page... With Hyperion App are you referred to a mobile App or Hyperion‘s Web UI?
You need to use the UI.
If this does not work, please provide details about your installationsystem->about
Plus a log in debug mode
system->log
suggest you enable the debug log,
Then disable the led-device and enable it again via the remote-control page
Then share the log output. -
@sand04 Do the LEDs turn off/-on, when you disable/enable them via the "Remote Control" in the Hyperion-UI?
-
Sorry, if you using multiple instances, you can provide the instance via "--instance instancename" as an additional parameter:
If you leave it out the default instance is used.To see all capabilities of hyperion-remote, just do a
This might give you additional ideas, too ...

@NeeeeB Please check, if the following works with you:
The behavior is as you would disable/enable the LED-Device via the Remote-Control in the UI

Smoothing generell abschalten:
Konfiguration->Bildverarbeitung->Glättung

Normally, there is no need to send Black when you disable a Led device.
Depending on the Led type, the LEDs are set to black while switching off.
Other led types, eg the network ones, the device is switched off via API.Writing black is only a solution for a subset of devices....

Couple of points:
1. Looks like you run HyperHDR and not Hyperion.NG
Any issues you should address and discuss in the HyperHDR forum/Git etc. and not here.Nevertheless, as a bonus:
2. 'philipshue' signals error: '(2) body contains invalid json, Resource:/lights/5/state'
Are you running a real Philips Hue-Bridge or an emulation like DIY-Hue?3. I suggest you move to Entertainment API mode, as this gives you a better User experience.
Light updates are far quicker....4. There are lots of errors, warnings in the log. I suggest you look at the log file first and resolve those, rather highlighting the a LEDs are off... You should not mix Hyperion.NG and HyperHDR config files.
Just some key problem that I spotted easily:

Could you also please export the configuration of the 2nd instance?
