Splitter (HDMI In) is connected to Onkyo's HDMI Out. HDMI Out 1 from splitter goes to TV, HDMI Out 2 to the grabber. Set splitter to EDID Copy (from TV).

[17:28 root@dreamtwo ~] > ls /usr/share/hyperion
bin bin-2.0.13 bin-2.0.14_PR1477-0 bin-2.0.14_PR1477-1 effects icons lib scripts
[17:28 root@dreamtwo ~] > ls /usr/bin | grep hyperion
hyperion-aml
hyperiond
hyperion-dispmanx
hyperion-framebuffer
hyperion-qt
hyperion-remote
hyperion-v4l2
hyperion-x11
hyperion-xcb
[17:29 root@dreamtwo ~] > ls /usr/share/hyperion/bin
hyperion-aml hyperiond hyperion-framebuffer hyperion-remote hyperion-v4l2 qt.conf
chmod +x /usr/share/hyperion/bin/*
hyperion neustarten und den PR testen.
systemctl restart hyperion@USER

Specify the layout for the LEDs and the start position.
Enter LED top/bottom right/left, start position set.
The start position is freely adjustable.

Your Hyperion is probably not running as root, which it has to for ws281x
sudo updateHyperionUser -u root

Zitat von bsmith76sSometimes I could control colors with WLED but then sometimes not.
That always has to work, otherwise there is already a problem with ESP or WLED.
Wrong settings, connections or reset and flash the ESP again.
Current version of WLED is 0.13.1
udpddp only makes a difference if more than 490 LEDs are driven, otherwise both protocols can be used with no visible difference.
So something else is wrong.

Hi,

Do colors or effects of WLED work?
Do Hyperion colors or effects work?
There is a problem with the grabber, test it on the PC and select the smallest resolution in Hyperion.
E.g MJPG 680x480, Size decimation 4 to 8
regards pclin
The resolution is important to note.
If you have a grabber that delivers 640x480 and Size decimation = 1, Hyperion must calculate 640x480 pixels ( high calculating/rendering power of the CPU and GPU).
But you only installed 84x47 | 84x47 LEDs, for example.
So you can use size decimation down until you reach the number of LEDs.
Example:
640x480 /5 = 128x96 (less calculating/rendering power of the CPU and GPU).
128x96 > 84x47 =
Size decimation by 6 or 7 would also work, 8 gives 80x60 so we would be under the number of LEDs.
Hyperion calculates internally with 0 to 1 x 0 to 1.
regards pclin
If the grabber is not available for selection in Hyperion, it will not be available in your system.
usb-devices |grep uvcvideo lists what is available.
Use a different cable, USB port or grabber.
Test the grabber on the PC/laptop to see if it works.
regards pclin
Du musst das nur mit angeben
'I', "instance" , "Select a specific target instance by name for your command. By default it uses always the first instance" |
hyperion-remote --help

There seems to be a problem with your USB/serial port /dev/ttyACM0. If Hyperion can't find/control a device, it's not Hyperion's problem.
Use board search and search for ttyACM0
