You might have to open your grabber to check the chip... Most grabbers are utv f007..
Can you send info on your setup from log?

I actually was able to make an adjustment via SSH
/usr/bin/v4l2-ctl -d /dev/video0 --set-ctrl brightness=80
but im not sure how to make it boot with that setting.
My RCA is actually just a male to male adapter not an actual cable
Luminance Gain doesnt change the video grabber image being dark.. Any other ideas?
Trying to get an understanding of this, Im very new to all this and have no experience with coding. I have my setup running RPi Zero W, on Jesse Lite
Ive got mine working great, only issue now is that the grabber video is a bit dark.. Anyone know how to fix that?
I haven't been able to locate a genuine UTV007 either. However I have been able to get somewhat of successful testing on the UTVF007 on RPi Zero W / WS2812b running Jessie lite. I have a 4 LED test strip on my RPi running the WS281X-SPI via hypercon using the NO-CHANGE work around. What I did notice is that the lights react to the video as long as the video is connected prior to powering the Pi.
I'm really new to all this and have no experience coding. Just thought I'd offer what works so far for me.
Yes please post logs, Im having issues with my setup... Also are you using a UTV007 or UTVF007
Hello, did you grab the latest Raspian? Im trying to build my lighting using a RPi0 / UTVF007/ WS2812b .. Currently using Jesse, I can get a screenshot of the grabber during the rainbow start sequence. But if I take a second shot it is all black, also the LEDs arent reacting to the video.
