Does anyone use the Hauppauge HD PVR 2 model 1512 (https://hauppauge.com/pages/products/data_hdpvr2.html) with hyperion-ng on raspberry pi (4)?

Technical it should work, as the device seems to be able to communicate over V4l2 - i would like to get some feedback here.

I am very interessted in this device because of its support for 5.1 audio.

I want to mix the captured audio with an Alexa input using ffmpeg and then output on the PI hdmi again
The hdmi goes then to AVR

this way I can talk to Alexa while watching videos and the video will get silent if Alexa is speeking

well i did found this one: Hauppauge Webstore | HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition Plus

but it seems like this device does only output mpeg4 video stream which wont work with hyperion, does it?

I've got two systems running fine with hyperion-ng using WisFox and Y&H HDMI capture cards.
But both card are only able to capture audio in stereo.

Is there any usb hdmi capture card which does support more audio channels (at least 5.1)?

I found the AverMedia Live Gamer 4k but it is an PCI-E device which makes it hard to use with an raspberry pi.

As it took me a while to find the right components to support 4K HDR at 60 HZ which does nicely fit in a casing, i will share the components used here:

I am using two Power-Outs to support power supply for two corners of the strip.
The USB is used as data transfer (only data pins + ground connected).
Using this successfully with 2M USB cable from Box to Strip.
If you are using the whole LED strip, maybe a slightly bigger power supply is needed.
For the power supply of grabber, converter and scaler i did cut the usb cabels on connect them to the power supply.

Software running is hyperion-ng.

ich habe nun über hyperbian die aktuellste version 2.0.0-alpha.7 installiert und mir den Y&H hdmi grabber besorgt, /dev/video0 input läuft auch soweit, allerdings kriege ich kein bild und auch kein screenshot.
Wie habt ihr das gemacht? @xkuyax @PrimaBallarina
