5V 8A is being used for ws2812b 300led (1m/60).
Power is connected from the beginning to the end.
Mainly, the brightness is set at 60% to watch at night, and PI4 and esp8266 use separate power sources.
It has been in use since April, but it still works fine without any problems.

The product I use doesn't have a rainbow signal. Replacing the grabber may also be a way.
It's my post that I tested.

I'm using 2g of pi4 now. I think that's enough.^^
-
I replaced it with a TV box supported by YouTube. The device is used only in the country where I live, so there is a limit to the specific explanation.
I'm sorry for not being of direct help because it's different from the way I solved it.
Have you downloaded it with mp3,mp4 and converted it using wav converter? -
It is my hardware and software.
lg 75inch tv +
pi4(2g) + hyperion + hdmi grabber(2.0) + hdmi splitter
esp8266(cp2102) + wled + level converter + ws8212 5m 300led
5V 8A Power Supply (Start and End Power Connection)
Settings in hyperion
device resolution --- 720x480
frames per second --- 30
smoothing --- off
Only the above three changes were made.
This is a picture of esp8266 and level converter that receives signals wirelessly from the pi4. -
I also had a problem with a very slight delay in led.
It lowered resolution and adjusted all settings for two months.
We've reached some level of satisfaction, but in a very quick screen transition,
A delay of 0.1 to 0.2 seconds was felt.
And the most satisfactory configuration I've ever found is...
It was esp8266 + wled.
Led follows the TV video well even on a very fast screen.
Led is ws8212b 5m 300led (1m/60led).
Smoothing is a recent test video with the status turned off.

I don't know if it'll help.....
The splitter I'm using is a product that supports HDCP 2.2.
The first video capture with roof works fine. -
There was a lack of explanation in the article.
My splitter supports hdmi-cec.
But the first grabber didn't work with hdmi-cec.
The other three grabbers work. -
I tried using four different HDMI grabbers.
All of them were purchased from AliExpress.
1.video capture with loof - hdmi-cec (x) rainbow signal (o)2.video capture 3.0 - hdmi-cec (o) rainbow signal (o)
3.RULLZ video capture 2.0 - hdmi-cec (o) rainbow signal (o)
4.video capture 2.0 - hdmi-cec (o) rainbow signal (x)
Grabber four turns off the TV and the led goes off at the same time.
I am currently using product number four.
It's working very well.https://blog.naver.com/lomazzi/222328138535
Product No. 4 Link
It is a black 2.0 product

my product configuration.
> pi4 + hyperhdr
> hdmi grabber + hdmi splitter
> esp8266(ch340)
> ws8212b (60/1M) 300led
There was a delay in Arduion, so I replaced it with esp8266.
The delay is gone, but the led is shaking. There was a delay in arduino, but it worked fine.
I also checked the resistance, level converter, and power adapter additionally, but the problem continues.
What could be the cause?
I'm sorry for my poor English.

Thank you for your answer.
Everything connects and works.
There is a slight tremor in the led.
Is it a problem with the power or cable? -
pi4+ hdmi gabber + hyperion + esp8266+ ws2812b 300led(60/1m)
I'd like to connect from esp8266 to ws8212b, can I connect it like the attached picture?
Do you mind if I don't have a level converter or resistance?
I'd appreciate it if you could let me know what to modify.
I'm sorry. It might look sloppy because I use a translator.

I used two grubbers.
It worked well except for the slight slowness (0.2 to 0.3).Touching the settings to adjust the slowness.
When the first product suddenly turns off the TV, LED does not turn off and turns on rainbow color.
In the past, when I turned off the TV, the LED was turned off as well.
The second product also works with the first product...
Suddenly there is no response. What's the problem? Did I touch something wrong?
Or do you have any product recommendations?
I'd appreciate your help.
-
I have a similar experience. I used the same hdmi capture card, but it turned on well at first, but now it's not responding.
Now I bought another hdmi capture and connected it.
-
I was personally mistaken.
The connection between the set top box and youtube, netflix was different.
I was confused by the same thing. -
It is connected to the hdmi splitter from the set-top box.
The splitter is connected again by TV and the other by Grabber.
The problem is that general broadcasting works normally, but the led doesn't work on YouTube and Netflix.my device

Isn't the response slow when the led turns on?
What product did you use?
