Cant get apa 102 to work anymore

Long story short, about 1 year ago i made my own ambilight with a rpi zero w and apa102 leds and it work fine with a grabber.
After i moved to my new house it just stop worked, so i replaced the rpi zero w with a rpi 3 because my usb hub was gving me problems with the zero.

But now i cant get anything to work, i even made a "dummy" with 4 leds just to get it to light up but i cant get it to work.

In my normal rig i got a 10A 5V PSU but i think that the rpi shuld be able to handle 4 leds?

What i have done so far:
Flashed open elec (8.04)and get it started on my rpi.
Installed hyperion from Hypercon in Windows 10
Sent config file and restarted my rpi after
Connected to start hyperion but i get no light to show any boot effect and the color picker dont work ether.

I really hope that someone can help me here just to get the lights to light up, if i get the 4 led rig to work i will try to get my 150 led rig to work with grabber but that seems to be far away atm.

My internet have been down for almost two weeks due to a broken fiber cable so sorry for the late reply.

I got dtparam=spi=on in the config.txt so i guess that i got spi on.
EDIT: Is the path for the json file correct that hyperion is trying to save the config?
