    Greetings Hyperianer,
    we wish you a nice vacation time and good weather. Come back healthy ;)
    As activity is lower during a hot season we pushed today just a small bugfix release. Which will be also the last version labeled as 1.X.

    Hyperion needs you!
    As Hyperion was never planned as a big project (4500 downloads each month) the core is not really prepared for for debugging, logging and (better) stability in case of errors (a unplugged usb grabber for example). Sadly the framework hyperion uses needs also a update to remove 3rd party dependencies and use the framework librarys instead.

    This leads now to a almost complete rework of Hyperion code which result in -> work and a big todo list
    New features are waiting for implementation. As more people join us to transform your/our ideas to useable code the faster we are.
    So if you are intersted just leave a message here or open a conversation with me and be part of it :)
    We are also searching for web developers (JS) :)

    Windows Phone / iOS App Developer
    There is still no iOS/Windows Phone app available that is open source and from our team.
    If you are familiar or interested in this area please contact me, this is one of the biggest issue of Hyperion currently.

    And now the changelog ;)
    • Raspberry Pi PWM: Fix for new Pi Zero revision and Pi 3
    • JSON PRC: Output of current active color works now
    • Backlight: For all people that use backlight: It is now no longer "colored"
    • V1.03.2: Smoothing stops no longer output. This restores the behaviour of 1.02 and earlier. If you still want a output stop add "continuousOutput": false to your smoothing array.
    example:
    Code:
            "smoothing" :
            {
                "type"            : "linear",
                "time_ms"         : 200,
                "updateFrequency" : 20.0000,
                "updateDelay"     : 0,
                "continuousOutput": false
            }

    Have a nice time

    HyperCon will sadly never give you a hint for a new Hyperion version. Just for a new HyperCon update :)
    This could be implemented but the future system will cover everything you miss in usage currently.
