I am looking for assistance with installing hyperion.ng on RasPlex. I have sucessfully got it working on Raspbian using the following instructions (https://github.com/hyperion-pr…ob/master/CompileHowto.md) but RasPlex is based on OpenElec which seems to be a lot more locked down. All the guides I can find refer to using Hyperion addon, which Rasplex doesnt have (I dont think?)
Also, I can't use apt-get, so not sure how I am meant to get all the dependencies.. e.g.
sudo apt-get install git cmake build-essential qtbase5-dev libqt5serialport5-dev libqt5sql5-sqlite libqt5x11extras5-dev libusb-1.0-0-dev python3-dev libcec-dev libxcb-image0-dev libxcb-util0-dev libxcb-shm0-dev libxcb-render0-dev libxcb-randr0-dev libxrandr-dev libxrender-dev libavahi-core-dev libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev libjpeg-dev libturbojpeg0-dev libssl-dev zlib1g-dev
I can see that there has been a guide written in the past, which is no longer available (and I assume this was for hyperion and not hyperion.ng):
