We are proud to announce the next Hyperion/HyperCon release which contains following changes

    Hyperion V1.02.0
It is recommended to recalibrate your colors, the whole processing has changed and the old values are now marked as DEPRECATED. This leads also to DEPRECATED values for the json interface which will be removed in future releases.

The new guide for the color calibration you will find here (click on the DE flag, if you want to read the DE guide):Color Calibration
The changes for hyperion-remote (JSON) here: hyperion-remote (JSON interface)

    HyperCon V1.02.0
    • SSH General: You no longer need a user "root" login to upload a config or install/update Hyperion (Need a Hyperion update to take effect!)
    • SSH Screenshots: Hyperion will be no longer start after a screenshot was made
    • SSH Screenshots: Set frame/size decimation to 2/1. This value prevents green lines on screenshot. This values are just used for this function, your values are still saved to your hyperion.config.json
    • New Device: RawHID (USB)
    • SSH Install/update: A new dialog prevents a install/update if you clicked accidently on the button.
    • OpenELEC: hyperion.log for all OpenELEC users (Old installs too). Everyone could now provide a Hyperion log (Need a Hyperion update to take effect!)
    • Like mentioned above: New Color Calibration: Easy calibration with HyperCon

Thank you to all devs/users that made this release possible!

To update Hyperion you could use HyperCon
    Installation on all systems

or you use the command line
