    Hello Guys,

Now I want to extend my TV to an "Ambilight". Can anyone say if a Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ is also suitable for this?
The question is more, does the software also run on it? Maybe anyone has build a Ambilight with a Pi 3 Model A+?
Difference to the Pi 3 B(+) is half of RAM (512MB), same CPU, WLAN/Bluetooth onboard, only one USB-Port (for the grabber). GPIO - Pinout should be identical.
The Rpi should only support the Ambilight. I will use another Media-Player.

    Thanks in Advance!

In this case then, it should be no problem. You could use it.

    Okay thanks!
What would be the simplest operating system for the RPi, only for Hyperion, without media player option?
    A recommendation?

    Ok, thank you.
Is the GPIO-Header Pinout of the Raspberry Pi 3 A+ and B+ the same?
    Especially MOSI(SPI) Pin19 and SCLK(SPI) Pin23 for the LED-Stripe?
