Go to the remote tab, what you want is there (live color settings, but you'll have to "report" your values in the image processing tab once you've finished).
EDIT: do not forget to click on the little colored square to get a color picker ;-)

Jeroen, could you post your RGB settings? I have a similar setup, and my brown/tans are no where near what yours is

Vig, I suffer from a grey wall as well, what did you settle on?

indeed, i noticed that brown is a difficult colour for the APA102's, but soft colours like beige/pink/lila/lightblue are really nice on the APA102. '
before i had the WS2801 but this was a good ledstrip in "hard colours" but very very bad in soft colouring..

i saw the difference when i switched to the APA's

Boost your backlight (rgb) threshold and play with black bar detection settings.
    I upload those tomorrow.
Also smoothing helps, setting 35hz or khz, with 120ms

I actually swapped my ws2812 led strip to SK9822 (APA102)led strip. The whites are better. I used all stock numbers as well for the colors and they are pretty good as far as I can tell, but now that you mentioned it, my blacks are dark green, not black. Will have to figure that one out another time...

That's great. My grey must be a bit more harsh
