sending signals to a remote hyperion

hello, since there is an app for hyperion and i see in the config remote ip, would it be possible to install an addon to send the tv signals from my smart tv (using kodi app) to the raspberry pi that is running hyperion standalone? i hyperion.kodi-master.zip on the kodi and entered the ip for the pi which did turn on the lights but do not change. is that the right addon?
