Whitelevel red is constantly reset to 0.

  • I can't get red colors at all until I edit the Whitelevel Red value in the color calibration tab. When I change the value back to 255 and click send Trans, everything is back to normal.

So I tried making sure this value is set to 255 by default.

I saved my Hyperion Config. I had an issue where saving it gave me a .json file showing a value of 0 anyway... but I fixed this by starting from scratch (without any .json loading at first) So now my .json config file does show redChannel = 255.

So now I go over the SSH tab, select the .json file and send config to my pi zero... but the issue is back as soon as I stop and restart Hyperion.

  • Update on my issue in case anyone is troubleshooting a similar issue.

I was renaming the .json file and you shouldn't do this.
ie: I was sending "hyperion.config2.json" over so it still read the old config .json file.

Also, make sure the log does not display errors. Even an unrelated error can stop you from doing something else, even unrelated.
