    Hi.

I have WS2801 LEDs in Bullet Pixel enclosure (like those: https://www.pcboard.ca/ws2801-bullet-pixel-insulated.html) and when they are on then emit low chirping sound / noise. Even without any signal from hyperion they have a tendency to do it.
Does anyone has the same issue with WS2801 or is something wrong with my LEDs? Can it be connected to power supply that is providing power to them?

Are you sure that the LEDS are making this sound?!

    Normaly it is the psu...

Yes, the brighter they shine the more sound they make.
I also just noticed that the metal bezel on TV is under power, as it gives you that tingling sensation when touched. Maybe it does induct secondary signal in the LEDs as it is close by. What is even more mysterious is that even if I disconnect TV from power I still have it but slightly weaker. I also disconnected WiFi router next to it, and the LED strip and it still is there. I will try to see what can be inducting that current.

I have found that when only one color is shining there is no chirping sound, but when it is while then it happens. My power brick is providing 5V 3A - according to settings on the hyperion.ng max power is estimated to be 3.3 A so this might be the issue.

I checked it, disconnecting half of the diodes solves the issue. I need more powerful psu.
