4k grabber only showing/grabbing quarter of the image

    I bought a Rullz 4k adapter an at first it worked very well, but then suddenly it seems the input is only grabbing the top left part of the image. I've tried several settings on the pi, but none help.


    The output of the device is 1080p 30hz as I know the grabber is not stable at 60hz.


    Any idea what to try next to make it work?

    first check if it has anything to do with Hyperion,


    go to terminal and excute; sudo apt-get install mplayer
    then execute; sudo mplayer tv:// -tv device=/dev/video0 -hardframedrop



    if you have a grabbed image here or you don't then you know what is going on.

    Thanks for the information. I have not checked your suggestion as I replaced my HDMI switch and now I no longer have the capture issue. However, when switching between sources the capture in Hyperion seems to stop. This can be solved by turning the led instance off and on again. I wonder if this is a big with Hyperion.


    If I can solve this, then I probably have a solid system :)
