Connecting WS2801-Stripes

    Hello all,


    i'm new to ambilight-projects, therefore be carefull with me.

    I have a WS2801-stripe(12 mm) with 5 meters, which has to be installed on the back of a TV. I want to cut it and clue it on the back of a TV.

    Was is the best way to connect the 4 pieces?


    Or is it a good idea to leave the long stripe as one piece and to fold it somehow in the corner of the TV.

    I would say indeed the less (solder)joints you have to make, the better it is.

    Remember then to power the strip from both sides, with GND and +5volts
