Thank mates - changing software with app acces / dashboard solved the problem.

Is it Hyperion Version 2.0.0-alpha.9? Thats what i am using now.

On the RPi is Hyperbian installed.

At the moment it works almost perfect.

Only problems with dark grey - looks a bit greenish and the leds are flickering. Tried to change green gamma a bit, but sometimes they still flicker. I ordered Wisofox - should be here today and going to change and test it.

Another problem i have at the moment is, that i am missing CEC and ARC.

I have the splitter between the TV and AVR. I found the feintech vsp01222 - according to it, this one should have both functions available. I am missing CEC most, but ARC would be also great.

Another problem - maybe someone using the ambilight also during gaming. If the ambilight is connected and i am gaming it seems, that the game "runs" a bit slower. If i unplug the splitter and connect the HDMi directly to the AVR the problem seems solved. So it looks like there is a problem in the "system" - probably the splitter? anyone knows this issue?

Mit welcher Software arbeitest du? Den Fehler hatte ich bei meinen ersten Versuchen auch.

In deiner Config ist unterm Grabber als "standard" : "PAL" eingetragen, bei mir hat bei dem UTVF007 die Änderung auf "NO-CHANGE" das Problem insofern gelöst, dass die von dir genannte Fehlermeldung weg war.

Mit dem Umstieg auf Hyperbian und der Hypercon App / Web Steuerung konnte ich dann auch das Problem lösen.

Siehst du in deiner Auswahl / Konfiguration beim Grabber die Werte "PAL" und "NTSC" oder auch schon das "NO-CHANGE", falls drittes fehlt, solltest du mit einer neuern Software das Problem lösen können.

jap - ich habe auf die "neuere" Version umgestellt.

Auf dem Pi läuft nun das Hyperbian und die Steuerung erfolgt via App. Seitdem funktioniert es auch fast gut.

Aktuell habe ich noch einige "Restprobleme".

Heute dürfte der Wisofox, sodass dann der analoge grabber und co wegfallen kann.

Jedoch habe ich derzeit noch das Problem, dass vor allem bei dunklen Szenen das Ambilight nicht richtig passt, dann wird eher ein flackern der LEDs wiedergegeben. Das könnte - der bisherigen Recherche nach - aber durchaus durch den Wisofox erledigt sein...

Das zweite Problem - wo mir aber noch nicht ganz klar ist, woher das rührt:

Wenn ich zB die Konsole fürs Gaming nutze und das Ambilight an ist, dann hab ich eine merkliche "Verzögerung" im Game. der Switch sitzt bei mir zwischen AVR und TV. Lasse ich das ganze weg und schließe das HDMI ohne Splitter und co direkt an den Receiver ist das "Problem" beseitigt - also scheint es an einer dieser Komponenten zu liegen....

Und das weitere nervige Problem scheint das fehlende CEC und auch das fehlende ARC zu sein, da dieser ja zwischen TV und AVR eigentlich in Betrieb ist.

Das Soundproblem könnte ich ggf. mit nem optischen Aus- bzw Eingang lösen, das mangelnde CEC bleibt davon aber unberührt.

Jetzt hab ich den Feintech VSP01222 ins Auge gefasst, welcher angeblich beides unterstütz und das zu einem sehr humanen Preis von rund 60€. Vielleicht ist es Wert, diesen auszuprobieren.

ich versuche es auch noch mal in deutsch. Ich habe mein Ambilight nun gestern endlich in "Betrieb" genommen und alles angeschlossen, verlötete etc. Leider tut es nicht das, was es soll...

Die Hyperion Hypercon scheint mit dem internen Grabber mehr oder minder zu funktoniere - mit dem externen leider nicht. Ich habe nun auch schon nen zweiten Grabber sowie Splitter gekauft, weil ich dachte es liegt womöglich daran - leider auch hier ohne Erfolg...

Alles ist soweit angeschlossen wie es wohl sollte. Das HDMI Signal greife ich zwischen AVR und TV ab, sodass ich alle am AVR angeschlossenen Geräte abgreifen kann.

Ich habe nun aufgrund diverser Berichte hier einen Wisofox HDMI2USB bestellt - dieser kommt jedoch erst im Laufe nächster Woche und ich würde das ganze gern vorher zumindest mal testen...

Wenn ich den internen Grabber aktiviert und den externen deaktivere, dann startet zumindest der PI mit dem Regenbogenlicht. Ist der externe aktiviert passiert das nicht.

Der Log am Ende gibt folgende Info aus:

Ich finde die Ursache oder die Einstellung dazu nicht. Vielleicht hat ja jemand eine Idee, Das Problem habe ich in diversen Beiträgen / Foren gesehen, nur leider immer ohne wirkliche Lösung des ganzen ....

i installed my ambilgiht yesterday and did everything i need to do. The Hyperion HyperCon Configuration works with the intern Grabber but i am not able to use it with the externel grabber. I bought a second one already, which should work - but nothing

Everything is connected as it should be. The HDMi Signal goes to my AVR and the Splitter is between TV IN and AVR Out, so everything connected to the AVR should send a signal to the grabber.

I ordered a Wisofox HDMI2USB Grabber already - but i will get it next week and i cannot wait to use the Ambilight.

If i use the internal Grabber and deactivate the external i see the rainbow light at the beginning. If the external Grabber is activated i do not get it.

If i check the log in Hypercon i get a error at the end according the Grabber:
