Not sure what I did but I have lights when I play a video, I know that if I want th menu to have lights I have to use the X11 but not sure what to edit to make it happen

ive recently built an ambi light clone for my htpc running libreelec, I've uploaded the sketch to my arduino uno that works fine connected everything I can change the effects using the remote app for my phone but that's the only output I get nothing in the menu or videos playing and I'm a bit stumped any help would be really appreciated
