I'd like to install some Ambilight behind my PC monitor but since I'm using Displayport I don't have the option of using the Raspberry Pi + Capture Card setup (to my knowledge there are no Displayport capture cards?). But I hear there is a purely software option in running Hyperion + a screen grabber on the PC itself, then outputting to WLED on ESP32.
Are there any drawbacks or problems in doing it like this? I'd mostly be concerned about CPU usage and reliability.
