So PI Zero GPIO10 (SPIdev0) to WS2813 still does not work.

Hello,

Here is what I did:

Install Hyperion with Hypercon.jar on Rpi 3b on Debian
Connect 6 LED WS2813 to the Rpi (pin 19 for DI, no connection for BI, as it is supposed to work as the WS2812b)
Connect the LED strip +5V to the V+ of the 5V 20A DC current ( this part: ) I tried 6 LED first to see the feasbility of the project.
Connect Ground from LED strip and Rpi (pin 6 ) to the ground of the power supply of the LED strip.
Connect an HDMI splitter / Hdmi to RCA converter / FrameGrabber UTV007 to Rpi

No luck....

Tried:

on GPIO10 you need SPIdev0, so its SPIDEV0.0

However it still does not work.....

And not exactly sure how to implement:

if you can't select another SPI GPIO number in Hyperion ( for every reason) then change your GPIO connection on the ledstrip to your PIN's.

then you need PIN38 for SPI1 (MOSI is output)

and you need to do some extra in boot/config.txt to deploy SPI1 so if i was you i would try to make SPI0 work> SPI0 is default.

i'm wondering if I have some "incompatible-difficult" Hardware... Maybe I should replace LED or Pi?

OK, starting from scratch!

i restored the image "2021-10-03-HyperBian-lite.img" to the RP-PI-ZERO and connected the led to GPIO10(pin19) with a Resistor 330 ohm.

Configured

- Led Controller

---- ws2812spi

---- spi device 0.1

---- baurate 3000000

---- HW led count 103

leddevice looks like its running

I switched to PWM GPIO18 ws281x however they sill dont turn on I also tried a different LED Strip.

Everything looks OK, however Led dont turn on
