hyperion set to ws281x and connected to gpio 18

    debug.txt

ok so i changed it to gpio 13 and its started to work, only problem is it starts to freak out .. goes intolike dance mode then works then dance etc.

can anyone help me out with how to check programing code. i have tried on multiple sd cards. a pi 4 and pi 3. I have downloaded hyperbian on one card i tried using ras pi os with install of hyperion and followed different videos and post , nothing has worked yet. been at this for a week now. i am a super noob at programing and have a bit of knowledge when it comes to circuits. my led strip is ws2815 12 volt leds. 12v 8a power supply which is over the amperage required for this strip. i have also installed logic level board in the setup. capture device is working. i can see it when i log into the ip address on hyperion . i configured hyperion to my setup unless there is something on it thats blocking the lights. im getting frustrated . i have entered "sudo updateHyperionUser -u root" and checked config.txt for dtparam=audio=off please help

i have pi on, attached to a screen, can access the terminal but how do i enter that code into it

ok i found the config and that code is already in there

have foud out if i unplug the ground from pi to led strip i get 13 leds that lite up white but are not controlable

im having pretty much the same issue as yael was . im am a complete noob to pi programing. i have been messing with electronics and wiring for years but im lost as hell right now. i am using pi3, ws2815 12volt led strip. i have followed videos and tuttorials on how to set everything up. been looking into this for a week now and i can not get the leds to light
