hello,
english isn't my first language, but i hope you will understand me anyway.
I set up my Ambilight recently.
Specs:
Raspi 3A
30A Powersupply
300 Leds total, WSB2812B, each side has a seperate voltage input. 1.5mm wiresize, shorter than 1m. Messured voltage at each side is 5.1V.
Ezcoo Splitter HDMI Splitter 1x2 Mini 60Hz
Noname Videograbber https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08K43M3ZB?tag=hyperioforum-21
Levelshifter with 110 Ohm Resistor.
Videosource is a Amazon FireTV stick 4K Max, HDR off
For the Software i used Hyperbian, latest version.
My problem is the color accuracy, some colors are matching really well, but others not so good.
Unfortunately im unable to set up a working Wifi-Network so than im able to stream pictures or videos from my network. It seems my 2Ghz band is just to crowed and 5Ghz is out of range. So i cant really test or calibrate my Ambilight properly.
I tried to make a picture, please check the picture below. The picture almost doesnt show anything, in reality its far more worse. My phone camera is just to bad.
The color problem is most noticeable by blue or green. Also, if i check the live video at the Hyperion Web UI, sometimes the picture really looks different as it acctually is.
I also noticed a big color difference between left and right. At the left side its often far more worse than on the right side, by blue/green colors.
Does anyone know how to fix that? Is my videograbber maybe trash?
