Yes, but then you won't be able to control them using Home Assistant - and I want to be able to do both. I do not have a Hue Bridge, I'm using a Sonoff zigbee adapter for all my zigbee needs

So I was wondering if I could use Philips Hue bulbs that I control with HomeAssistant with Hyperion, as well. There's ha-bridge, but it's extremely clunky to configure.
I've decided to create my own solution, so I created a small script that listens on UDP port. You can use `udpraw` connector in hyperion to connect to it. It works like a charm!
You can see it in motion here:

I'm a novice trying to get started building my first Hyperion setup! I am very sensitive to flicker, and I see that many (all?) setups use PWM to control the LEDs. I assume it means the LEDs just flash very fast, just like LED backlights of many TVs when the brightness is set to less than 100%.
Do you know of a controller+LED strip setup that does not make the LEDs blink, just lowers the current or voltage to the LEDs as necessary instead of rapidly blinking them?
