ich habe das System doch etwas anders umgesetzt als oben beschrieben. Anstelle von einem Hardware Grabber + HDMI Splitter + Levelshifter habe ichnur Software Android Grabber gemacht. Ich habe ich nur ein 5V 10A genutzt, ohne Level shifter. Damit betreibe ich ca. 2m LEDs (somit 2x60=120 LEDs) bei ca. 75% Helligkeit.
Es treten keine Probleme auf, kein Flackern.

my LED are working fine. The tests effects are working but i cant make the Hyperion Grabber run on my Nvidia Shield. When i install the app on shield it finds my running hyperion server on my Pi3b but the LEDs do anything. What i need to select in Hyperion Capturing Hardware? What settings are needed in Hyperion at all for the Software Grabber solution. I cant find informations in the internet.
Do i need USB Capture turn on or Screen Capture?
ok but why isnt Youtube working? Standard Youtube should work.
Or you mean Youtube TV (US Version with live streams of sports and so on)?

Can you help me and tell me if I install the software Grabber (Android Screen Grabber) on the Shield (non Pro version) and connect it to a Pi (via Wifi or LAN) and get a setup without hardware: HDMI Splitter and USB Video Grabber? I only use one Media Device on my TV (Shield for IPTV and videos, no Netflix/Prime).
I also have other questions:
1. would a Wifi connection perhaps have possible LED delays compared to a LAN connection?
2. can the software grabber be started by the Shield in auto-start mode or does it have to be started manually each time and run in the background?
I couldn't find this information in a quick search here and via google

6. Level-Splitter (SN74AHCT125)
7. Verbindung/Zubehör wie z.B. barrel power jack
Nun zur Verkabelung. Ich bin absoluter Anfänger was das angeht. Mein Konzept sieht so aus (bisher ohne Level Splitter). Ich nutze ein aufgeschnittes Micro USB Kabel
Wie und womit verbinde ich da nun den Level-Splitter? Wo zwischen muss er? Sorry vielleicht für die dummen Fragen aber ich bin da absoluter Noob. Der Level Splitter sieht jetzt nicht so aus, als man da einfach Kabel verbinden und stecken kann?

Danke. Ich meinte eher Pi4 und die LED teilen sich ein 5V Netzteil. Wäre das möglich? Ich rechne mit ca. 210 LEDs SK6812 bei 50% Helligkeit und da komme ich auf ca. 3,85A (20W) Somit könnte ich ein 5V 5A verwenden korrekt?

I have seen some videos on YouTube that show the Pi3 and LED strips sharing a common power supply. Would this also be possible with a 42 inch TV? Or do the LEDs need an additional power supply? Would that mean 3 power connections in the end? 1x HDMI splitter, 1x Pi3 and 1x LED? I think that's quite a lot.
I would like to have as few power cables or power supplies as possible because the cable management should not be visible. How do you handle it?

ich nutze einen alten Plasma 42" mit nur 1080p und nur eine normale Nvidia Shield für Android TV, IPTV und Videos (1080p, MKV teilweise mit DTS-Tonspuren) zu schauen. Als Steuerung nutze ich die TV-Fernbedienung (also CEC-Funktion absolut notwendig!).
In den ganzen Threads bin ich etwas verwirrt. Um die Latenz so niedrig und allgemein bestes Ergebnis zu haben, welche Hardware benötige ich hierfür, könnt Ihr mir was empfehlen? Da ich nur ein Gerät nutze, brauche ich überhaupt Grabber + HDMI Splitter oder reicht nur ein Gerät hierfür aus (muss natürlich CEC pass through können. Ich glaube das machen nur Splitter oder?)
Meine Liste wäre:
1. Grabber: Macrosilicon MS2130
2. HDMI Splitter:
3. Raspberry 3 ? (Hätte der 4er einen sichtbaren Performance Vorteil?)
4. Was fehlt noch?
Zum Thema LED-Stromversorgung. Da mein Fernseher (42") relativ klein ist, können die LED über den Raspberry versorgt werden? Ich möchte ungern noch diese zusätzlich mit einer externen Stromversorgung betreiben. Was meint Ihr? Ich habe mal gelesen, dass bei vielen LED bzw. langen LED-Ketten es so einer Unterversorgung kommen kann und diese flackern. Bei 42" ist die Länge eigentlich relativ kurz.
