Correction, Libreelec has not moved on to Wayland. They are using GBM.

Any solutions to getting Hyperion working in that kind of environment?

The old Hyperion addon for libreelec basically died as of LEv11 as they moved away from x11 to wayland.

I just read about pipewire and that it routes video from Wayland sources.

Could this be used to build an all in one solution again?
