checked some things,even when the cable box is disconnected the capture card shows the colour stripes...maybe next days switching from the abc! wled controller to rp 2040 scorpio

hello,

problem is that hyperion receives a colour signal from the cable tv box (vodafone gigabox) when it´s turned off into standby mode,

so the lights stay on even when there´s no tv watching anymore.

setup is raspb4 with hyperbian and usb capture card,led´s powered by wled (abc! v43 box).

checked all settings from hyperion and wled but found nothing helpful.

Purchased the govee box set for my mom because of easy usability for her....it´s automatic powering off with master/slave power strip.

but two raspb´s (4+5) are unused ,also one ABC!Wled controller and a rp2040 scorpio which are waiting for new occupation....the tv (sony android k9005) is often used to play files from the usb port,so it would be great to create a new setting with the govee led strip and the other stuff.

usb-c breakout cable is on the way...

first try will use the android screen grabber and rp scorpio.

TV rooten und Piccap/Hyperion/HyperHDR nutzen keine Option?

Sparste dir den RaspB + Grabber + Splitter.

you can root the lg tv and then use piccap with hyperion or hyperhdr....need a led controller or the raspberry to control the ledßs ...

meinte Philips nicht Samsung hab selbst gerooteten LG mit Piccap,von daher mir lax

Na ja,Kollegen habens auf Sony und Samsung TVs am laufen und sind rundum zufrieden.

Spart man sich den USB Grabber....

Damit sind die TV internen Apps gemeint,wenn du zB einen Firestick anschliesst sollte alles laufen...

Probiers doch erst direkt mitm Pi,ansonstn halt den Esp dazu.

Die meisten können von Haus aus nur 3v deshalb halt ggbfls einen Level Shifter dazu.

Sind viele Dinge die man nur durch learning-by-doing erst richtig checkt,

Hat dein Sony Android drauf? Da gibts doch (Hyperion/HyperHDR/u.a.) Apps für soweit ich weiß,mach dich da mal schlau....kannste evtl Geld Zeit und Kabel sparen

LEDs würd ich SK6812 CW oder NW nehmen.

Ja 2 Einspeisepunkte können auch reichen,ggbfls max. Helligkeit auf 75% runter,reicht meist vollkommen. Hab 250 LEDs ,Ende mit Anfang verbunden funzt auch 1a.

edit: die Eckverbinder sind nicht gut...am besten löten (lassen),ansonsten Zeit und Nerven einplanen für die Ecken....die anderen verfügbaren Verbinder sind allesamt besser ( BTF LIGHTING WS2812B Connector solderless soldering )als die von dir verlinkten (hab davon auch 15Stk gehabt )

ESP hat Levelshifter eingebaut? Sonst empfehle ich zB ItsyBitsy oder Adafruit Feather RP2040

Nein brauchst nichts anderes,Netzteil mit genügend Amper ist klar...und sind 3pin statt 4pin

Schaltbild musste googln,aber denke müsste gleich sein nur halt ein Pin weniger.

The signal must be split,one for the TV and one for the grabber on the RaspB which feed the ESP Board for your LEDs.

You´ll need a splitter+grabber+RaspB f.e.

HDMI Kopierschutz können nur paar Produkte von HDFury ...mein letzter Wissensstand.

check your ESP 5v/3,3v problems,maybe you need a level converter ....or something like this : WLED Controller Board V43

Try an other image ..... at my first steps the three image´s i tried first don´t let me connect over :8090.

in den 2 Tutorials waren beides Mal die LEDs an der Stiftleiste vom RPI connected,

letzte Drittel des how-to wär dann nicht mehr relevant quasi.

Sollte aber trotzdem machbar sein vermute ich

Tipp für einen ESP ?
