My easycap video grabber seemed to be not working correctly within the system. So I cracked it open and found no chip that specifically said UTV007, the one chip says SAMSUNG on it, I'm not sure it that means anything. But is there a way to be sure that I have a compatible chipset?

When plugged into the 5v 15a power supply and Arduino my LED strip only has about only the first four lights active. I tested this on another part of the strip and it still does the same thing. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? If it is worth anything, I am using WS2812 LEDs.
