QObject::connect: No such slot ProtoServer::setVideoMode(VideoMode)
"Unexpected reply signature: got \"\", expected \"a{sv}\"" -
What are your coding skills like ?
I don’t have a bulb or the time to do it myself, but happy to provide pointers to what’s needed
Hi penfold tacking advantage of your comment, what language i need to know to programming hyperionng -
-
This works in hyperion classic ?
-
What arduino sketch are you using, and What arduino pins you connect
-
did you check that really its ttyUSB0 mine its on ttyacm0 you can check in your /dev list, also the rate need to be the same in your arduino sketch
-
It's available in Hyperion.NG, This is a pre release version and well need to be compiled by you. There is good compile howto here: https://github.com/hyperion-pr…ob/master/CompileHowto.md
Hope it's of help.
Thanks i know that version but actually im using classic : ( because im using webcam as source , i compiled the NG version and added the changes to work with my cam but in NG cant use the cam, thanks any way : ( -
Yes and no. On the Nodemcu board the grounds are all ready connected. You well only need one wire to a ground pin (all well be connected via the board circuitry )
I believe you are correct D4=GPIO2.
Controller type: udpe131 And the IP. That's the setting I have on mine.
Hope its of help.
hi, im trying to use my nodemcu , on hypercon there is no udpe131 you put this value manual?
-
Yep - systems - at one point I had 3 with espixelstick and 2 with spi on a Pi.
All with ws2812 rather than 2813 but it should work based on:
https://github.com/forkineye/ESPixelStick/issues/29Thanks for your help, a question i want to use a nodemcu over wifi i read about hyperion second instance, i have Ws2812b leds strip , wich the correct or Last code for nodemcu ?

I can upload a capture from the video grabber and a picture of my tv (taken from my phone) to give you an idea of what it looks like. Obviously, it won't be a perfect comparison.
Unfortunately, I don't have my light strip connected yet. I'm in the process of rebuilding my setup. If I have time tomorrow I'll connect power and check it out.
Ha ok , thanks for your feedback
-
I did yes, it works flawlessly. I haven't tested Dolby Vision yet but HDR works fine.
Excellent and the colors seems similar in hdr and the light strip?
-
Just got my Ezcoo splitter/scaler yesterday, not 100% but it does look like it strips HDR from output 2 when scaling is enabled. I can upload a picture from my tv and one from my video grabber for comparison.
did you get a good result with the ezcoo ?

Hi , i have
You should consider a level shifter between the nodemcu and “DI”.
The nodemcu is a 3v3 logic level but the leds specs claim it needs 0.7 * 5v = 3.5v
I prefer 74HCT series chips rather than those cheap mosfet based shifters on eBay
Hi , a question maybe you can help me , i have a level shifter SN74HCT125N http://mexico.newark.com/texas…dp/68K1116?st=SN74HCT125N
this can work or i bought an incorrect? -
I have actually developed a DirectX 11 capture Windows grabber to run my LEDs at almost 60Hz. See: https://hyperion-project.org/t…r-windows-available.1018/
DIP 1 2 3 4
X 0 0 0 : copy output1 EDID only - This does not work unless the RCA convertor supports 4K @ 60Hz
X 0 0 1 : EDID MIX
X 0 1 0 : EDID Download (RS232)
X 0 1 1 : 4K X 2K 30HZ
X 1 0 0 : 4K X 2K 60HZ - Works with a 4K @ 30Hz RCA convertor (). I still got 60Hz on monitor.
X 1 0 1 : 1080P 3D 2ch
X 1 1 0 : 1080P 2D 2ch
X 1 1 1 : 1080P 2D 5.1chThese above EDID modes are copied over from AliExpress. More accurate information is available in the splitter's user manual. Note that I had tested this stuff out with a Windows 10 PC and not Nvidia Shield.
Please do not buy the RCA convertor from Amazon that I linked in this post. It did not last more than an hour.
just a question with this , i dont know if the manual says , this can downscale ? 4k source to 1080p?

Puedes poner tu hyperion.config.json para ver si le veo algo o alguien más lo ve
-
Mira en el link que te pase debes verificar que tu capturadora sea compatible y el tipo pal o ntsc configura desde hypercon
-
I ask the amazon seller if he could send to me the ezcoo and said no from amazon , but can send directly , $105 dollars with express DHL ,
but in mexico we pay 16% tax dont know yet if this cost include tax or not , maybe in your country its cheaper if you want to bay directly -
