ich habe die Hardware identisch (mit raspberry Pi 3) zu einen Forum-Kollegen gekauft und bin "eigentlich" sehr zufrieden!!!
Das einzige was mich stört ist, dass sobald kein Signal anliegt das Testbild mit den Regenbogenfarben gezeigt wird.
Hat jemand von euch ebenfalls einen HDMI Grabber für raspberry PI 3/4, der einfach nur ein schwarzes Bild anzeigt und somit die LED-Lampen von Hyperion dunkeln sein lässt?
Bis vor kurzem habe ich den "Lightberry" verwendet (lief unter Hyperion sehr gut, bin jetzt aber auf NG gewechselt wegen UHD), der einfach nur ein schwarzes Bild zeigte, sobald kein Signal anlag.
Jetzt würde ich mich dafür interessieren, wer einen HDMI Grabber 1080p oder mehr empfehlen kann, der das ebenfalls "nicht" hat.

Bin an die gleichen Pins gegangen wie bei dem Raspberry 3.
Jedoch scheint das nicht zu funktionieren. Weiß jemand von euch, ob sich die PIN Belegung verändert hat?

Habe gerade die Modi getestet. NTSC und PAL. Ohne Erfolg.
Ich habe sogar den Video-Output 50hz und 60hz getestet. Das Ergebnis ist jedoch unverändert.
Ich habe keine andere 4k Quellen getestet, weil ich neben dem Apple TV keine weiteren 4k Quellen besitze. Der AVR kann jedoch von 1080p auf 4k hochskalierten.

ich habe nun den 4K Wandler erhalten und schon mal sehr positiv, mein TV zeigt mir an, dass er 4k Signale erhält.
Wenn ich jedoch meinen Apple TV auf 4k "SDR" (mit Absicht KEIN HDR) einstelle, erhalte ich folgendes Bild am Grabber und dementsprechend keinen vernünftigen Hyperion-Effekt:
Wenn ich den Apple TV wieder auf 1080p "SDR" stelle, bekomme ich das Bild:
Ich wäre um jeden Ratschlag dankbar.

ich habe nachfolgendes Problem:
Bisher habe ich einen 1080p Grabber genutzt. Nun habe ich mir jedoch einen neuen TV gegönnt, der 4k Auflösung beherrscht.
Wenn ich meinen Apple TV ohne Verbindung zum 1080p Grabber nutze, nutzt mein TV die volle 4k Auflösung. Sobald ich jedoch den Grabber einstecke, wechselt der Apple TV von 4k auf 1080p. Das liegt natürlicherweise an den HDMItoAV Konverter. Ein anderer Konverter mit UTV007 Chip nutzt leider auch nur die 1080p.
Mein AVR hat einen eingebauten HDMI-Splitter (er gibt die Bildinhalte von 2 HDMI-Ports aus)
Nun zur Frage:
Ich würde jedoch nun stets die 4k Auflösung auf dem TV genießen und dazu das Ambilight!
Freue mich auf eure Rückmeldungen.

Das macht der m. E. Grabber... der "alte" Grabber hatte nie das Problem.

ich habe mal eine Frage, ich habe auf den Grabber USBTV007 (Link zu Ebay) gewechselt.
Hierdurch wurde folgendes Problem behoben:
Wenn kein Signal in den Grabber fließt, bleibt der Hintergrund einfach dunkel! D. h. sobald alles ausgeschaltet war, zeigte Hyperion mit den alten Grabber auch Regenbogenfarben um den TV an. Der neue Grabber macht das NICHT.
Das Ergebnis sieht bei Raspi wie folgt aus:

PERFEKT! Aber nun habe ich ein anderes Problem:

Der Grabber verschiebt beim Satelliten-TV das Bild immer seitlich und nach oben. Dadurch bleiben die LEDS natürlich aus. Wenn ich eine andere Videoquelle nehme (z.B. Apple TV) passiert das nicht.
Kennt jemand das Phänomen? Natürlich könnte ich jetzt noch mehr Pixel von allen Seiten weg schneiden, aber dann zeigt Hyperion m.E. nicht immer die korrekte Farbe passend zum Bild.

Sehr gute Frage, das Problem habe ich auch.
Hallo zusammen,
wenn ich wie im DIY Tutorial den Pi und die WS2801 mit separaten Netzteilen betreibe, flackert mein Ambilight sehr stark, sobald mehr als 10% der LED leuchten.
Nachdem ich GND vom Pi mit den WS2801 verbunden habe, wurde es besser. Nun flackert es erst, wenn 50% der LED leuchten.
Kann man Ambilight und Pi nicht flackerfrei mit getrennten Netzteilen betreiben?
Die Idee ist halt, das Ambilight mit einer Funksteckdose zu aktiviern/deaktivieren.
P.S. Ehrlich gesagt, habe ich den Pi nur mit 5V mit 1A versorgt. Meint ihr, dass das der Fehler ist?
