Does anyone know of an HDMI splitter that is compatible with both, CEC and eARC?

Not explicitly via hyperion. The white value is set depending on the other RGB values and on the algorithm configured with sk6812.
So, I can only control "white" by using the rgb channels? How can I put in a feature request. I know a lot of people who use sk6812, and can't believe this hasn't been asked already

A product link would make sense...
These warm white are working for sure

I see - you want 5-pin LEDsguess not, as they aren‘t listed:
https://docs.hyperion-project.…ces.html#general-settingsAre you able to control the white LED? I can't find a way to control them

I submitted a question and no one responded and hoping I can get help from one of you since you were kind enough to reply to this thread.
Is there a way to control the white LED on an sk6812 instead of just the RGB?

with VNC viewer you can see the desktop and in folders you can select in view tab> CTRL+H this makes vissible hidden folders.
how to do that in SSH/Putty
For command line:
ls -a
or
ls -al
Thank you! I had to SSH and change the permissions on the to the folders with VCN, then add my old effects. Thanks for that because not sure I would have found it without your help! -

That's the thing... There is NOTHING in the Pi folder ♂️
-
The ".hyperion" directory is normally a hidden one.
Remember, I'm like a 5 year old trying to build a car here... How do it get it to display if it's hidden? -
click /home/pi/hyperion/effects then you are there.
btw i see two files for each effect, a python file and a Json file. Better to copy both of them.
So, I get into the home and Pi folder, but once into the Pi folder, it's completely empty ♂️ -
This link is returned as "The requested conversation was not found". -
As you mentioned that you access your machine via ssh, I was under the assumption that you can navigate via the terminal.
the „~“ is the synonym for a user‘s home directory. If you do in a terminal
cd ~/.hyperion
pwdYou should see the resolved complete path.
@jeroen warmerdam I would assume that you are missing the dot before the hyperion directory...
Sorry, this is all VERY new to me as I just started getting back into it after 4 years. Even then, I barely messed with anything at that time. I had only used it with Homeseer to control my APA102's under my cabinet. Now I'm tired of all my smart devices being on a million different apps, some not under Homeseer, and now attempting to learn HASSIO. So as you know, this is all like learning a second language.

I will give it a shot when I get back home after work. Thanks for your help!

As you see, I don't have that folder.

Question and maybe it was asked already. I would like to use the white channel on my sk6812 for the background effect/color. Is there no way to control that within Hyperion?
-
I just did a new build and started over with Hyperbian. I have custom effects that I had created prior. I tried to SSH into the Pi but can't find the effects folder. I can't even find the Hyperion folder.

So I guess "effect" is the wrong way to put it... (only messed around with it once YEARS ago, so still noob here)
Better-ish Example... I have:
60 LEDs on the top
60 LEDs on the bottom
30 LEDs on the left
30 LEDs on the rightLet's say I wanted the top and bottom to be a specific color (static)
And the sides to be unlit 0,0,0
But still be able to run an effect and have the sides functioning as normal. Is this possible, and how?

I have been trying to figure out an effect where I could only have specific LEDs lit up while the remaining were not.
Example: 100 LEDs in total (I don't know have RGB as I am using sk612)
LEDs
1-10 Unlit
11-30 Lit
31-60 Unlit
61-80 Lit
81-100 Unlit
