sudo systemctl stop hyperion@USERNAME
sudo systemctl stop hyperion@root

When viewed from the front of the TV, the direction should be clockwise.
It doesn't matter where you start, it's adjustable in Hyperion.
I prefer to use the middle at the bottom, which in my opinion is an advantage when it comes to cabling, but it is more complex because you need 5 stripes, there are 2 pieces at the bottom.

Because I know some users who have bought the Dreamcolor set, some of them for the 3rd time now because something is defective. One of them was close to a room fire.
And WS2812b has a bluish white.

Yes, that will work, but the quality is not high.

No 4K will not work with the grabber on the sub out. You need a grabber with 3840x2160 60 Hz at the input. See HERE from € 9.60

Buy an ESP8266 or ESP32, flash WLED software. Then you can send the data to WLED via LAN/Wlan from the PC and become the WS2812B connected to the ESP and controlled. Better than WS2812B are the successors SK6812 RGBW-NW.

Input HDMI: max. 3840×2160 / 60Hz
Output USB 2.0: max. 1920x1080 / 30Hz
Chipset: Macro Silicon MS2109

You need network access LAN or WIFI that's the only way to get to hyperion's WEBUI.

12V 5A not even for testingStripe, RPI, ESP require 5V!
DRM is not a problem, your source has to be able to do that.
Your drawing doesn't make any sense. Where does Hyperion get an image (grabber) from?
If your AVR has a 2 HDMI out, you can connect a digital HDMI>USB grabber (9.6 €) and deliver the image to hyperion via USB.
The ESP is missing in the drawing.
Without an AVR you need a splitter, a splitter has other advantages.

What splitter and grabber are you using exactly?
Most can only do FPS!

Undervoltage detected!
Try:
sudo nano /boot/config.txt
max_usb_current=1
Then save and close the file: Ctrl + O, Return, Ctrl + X.
For the boot parameter to take effect, the system must be restarted.
