It's already running with root.
Do you have a live image in Hyperion?

It does not necessarily have to be the WisFox, which is not always available.
Here is a similar product on Ebay (DE)

Discord OpenLGTV piccap-hyperion, search for unicapture or ask there.

With EZCOO SP12H2 a cheap (from 10.00 €) grabber with a macrosilicon chip, e.g. WisFox, is sufficient. It works and has everything you need.

Why now a new thread at bug report?
You'll get help, and it's definitely not a Hyperion bug!

OK, the root error is fixed.
Did you make entries in the config.txt?
If not use the board search.
Do you get a picture in live video, do effects work?

Code: ezcap320- Interface: Type-C USB 3.1 Gen1 - Video Input: HDMI 2.0 - Audio Input: HDMI, Line In (3.5mm TRS) - Video Output: HDMI 2.0 - Audio Output: HDMI - Max. Pass-Through: 2160p60 HDR, 1440p144, 1080p240 - Max. Recording: 1080p120, 2160p30 - Supported Resolution: 2160p, 1440p, 1080p, 720p - Output Video Format: YUY2, NV12, RGB - Recording Resolution and Max FPS: 3840x2160 - NV12/30; 2560x1440 - NV12/60, YUY/50; 1920x1080 - NV12/120, YUY/60, XRGB/30; 1280x720 - NV12/60, YUY/60, XRGB/60.
WisFox
EDIT:
Im Vergleich dazu ezcap269
Code: ezcap269- Host Interface: USB 3.0 - Video Input: HDMI 2.0 - Audio Input: HDMI, Line In (TRRS cable), Headset (TRRS CTIA or OMTP) - Video Output: HDMI 2.0 - Audio Output: HDMI, Headset (TRRS CTIA or OMTP) - Resolution: 720 x 480 (60p), 720 x 576 (50p), 1280 x 720p (50p), 1280 x 720p(60p), 1920 x 1080 (50i), 1920 x 1080 (60i), 1920 x 1080 (24p), 1920 x 1080 (25p), 1920 x 1080 (30p), 1920 x 1080 (50p), 1920 x 1080 (60p). 3840 x 2160(30/60p) (only for input and pass-through)
3840 x2160 30/60 geht aber NUR input and pass-through!
Also auch keine gute Lösung!

Also kommt gar kein Signal an.
Signal kommt an!

Soweit so gut.

With PicCap it depends on the TV and WebOS version. With my two 65 SUHD (2018) and OLED (2020+) everything works with external sources, even HDCP/DRM, HDR/DV, 4K120 and 8K is no problem. With internal content with DRM, it doesn't work that you get a picture, everything else works. OSD doesn't work on the SUHD.
EDIT:
You have to switch off Quickstart+, then it also works after switching the TV off/on.
EDIT:
LED Delay is practically undetectable with the 'right' versions and settings.
PicCap 0.2.3 has some bugs, better is the unicapture branch, and Hyperion.NG directly on the LG TV
