  • Pi Zero and WS2812

    So I have been using Hyperion for half a year now. Just as a controllable LED strip as my splitter and TV don't like each other and I got no time to fix that. Been using a Arduino (Esp8266 to be more precise) with the Pi Zero, but it flickered really hard etc.
    Now I want to redo it. Reflashed, reinstalled, reconfigured. But I want to control them from the Pi this time. Tried the ws2812x driver, but I can't seem to get it to work.
    What I did:


    - enabled SPI (to test ws2812SPI)
    - disabled audio (for PWM)
    - played around with the GPIOs, mainly tried 18 tho


    But the LEDs won't light up. Any advice?


    Used: Pi Zero W (Raspbian Buster), WS2812b
