WLED is absolutely great - I bought myself the Wemos D1 Mini (at reichelt or makershop or az-delivery or....) and SK6812 RGBW (NW!! neutral white).
I came from WS2801 and the new LEDs are are truly much better. Very nice colours and simple calibration. In terms of splitter and grabber I might not be from great help.
I know that these are working and are recommended from @pclin in the forum:

not sure if this can work out.
Hyperion can run on- Debian 9 | Ubuntu 16.04 or higher
Quite sure there are containers in the hub
Guess it depends on how the Synology OS is forwarding USB devices to the vm/container?So the Synology is connected directly to the TV and you are doing the playback natively from the NAS?

Hi @Tyler983 Alpha9 is now out..!
If you are using iPhone, you could also use shortcuts as a workaround to stop/start the service!
With the new iOS these can be placed right on the primary screen
...I believe the service is named different with RPi -

Hi,
for me the calibration didn't worked anymore, when I typed in an ID other than default.
The color adjustments didn't trigger anymorex86 LibreELEC 9.2.6
Thank you!

Hi,
Just upgraded from Alpha 8 to 9
I proceeded like this:
1) Backup of primary config
2) Backup of second instance configin ssh:
3) systemctl stop Hyperion.service
4) rm -R /storage/hyperion
5) follow @Paulchen-Panther Guide: https://hyperion-project.org/t…ziell-unofficially.10463/ to install Alpha 9
6) generating second instance
7) importing both backups
be happyexcept that the Web-UI password is lost, everything worked fine and its running stable.
I do platform capturing only.Tested the color calibration, which is now possible. The color picker is going to be very handy! If possible, please add the possibility to adjust the values with the arrow keys to be more accurate.
There seems to be a bug: When giving a color profile ID other than "default" the adjustments won't trigger.

A product link would make sense...
These warm white are working for sure

I see - you want 5-pin LEDsguess not, as they aren‘t listed:

0) having a better plan which would turn out to
1) using 60 LEDs/Meter !!!!!! !!
2) buying ONE sufficient PSU
3) taking white PCBs -
dickes, fettes Danke!!

Hi All,
First of all thank you so much !!! Team Hyperion !!! for bringing this nice project to the community and making it so easy to understand, that even guys like me can have a setup
Let me show you, what I have done so far:

It is an LG 55" OLED Display with Yamaha AVR and Nubert 5.0 sound system. Hyperion is installed on x86 hardware with LibreELEC Media Center Software and TVheadend. The LEDs are SK6812 RGB(N)W connected to two Wemos D1 Mini. 108 LEDs on the TV, 89 (around 50 used for Hyperion) on the bottom of the low-board. So far there is no external grabbing going on, but this will be done in future as well to enable my RetroPie for Hyperion.
At the beginning my wife thought the TV backlight was the only thing I wanted to do.... I however got addicted and two Wemos surely won't be the end for us :p Thanks @pclin once more btw for the hint to WLED!!
Edit (working with "LED Index" and profiles):
As I wasn't really aware that profiles in the image processing section of Hyperion.ng can be utilized to switch certain LEDs off, I want to share how I got it working. It should show how to dedicate in this case only the middle part of the strip to Hyperion.
...It might help anyone someday...I have attached the LED layout of the second instance and the 3 profiles it needed to do so.EditEdit:
With alpha 10 you don't need LED profiles anymore to darken certain LEDs. It is a lot easier to blacklist LEDs (in LED output->LED layout). Very easy!! Thanks to Lord-Grey
Please note that the LED layout in Alpha8 currently needs to type "1" in top left and right although there are no LEDs. This will be fixed in upcoming versions. The second thing to take care of is, that it is mandatory to define an ID. There shouldn't be two identical IDs within one instance! The third thing is, that only the middle part of the picture will be showed Boy the LEDs and not all, but I can live with that... I felt it to be a little distracting having so much more scale on the bottom then on the TV
