Check all your connections. Bad connection can result with flickering.
Do you have common ground with leds and Pi?

Orange Pi, and strip should be on this same ground!
-
That's right.

For Sk6812 there is a controller type sk6812spi!
What gpio for sk6812spi?
Currently my sk6812 works with gpio 19 -
Every day is a school day 😁🫵

Hello, thanks for quick response ;]
Yeah, technically is all okay apart that I used fried led strip 🤦
After replacing the bad strip all lights as should 😁 -
So the setup is,
rpi 2, 250 leds WS2812B driven (in theory) via gpio18
PSU 60A 5.5V common ground for PI and leds.
What do I missing?
My other hyperbian works with SK6812NW with no issues at all...
Just wondering why I can not make it on rpi2 ;] -
Coz im trouble to run leds via the latest.
Not sure if im doing something wrong via gpio18 but leds just wont start ;]
So i figured may be older version work with pi2 -
Afternoon Folks!
Looking for and older hyperbian image for Rpi II.
Any would be able to help ?
Kind regards! -
Got WLED, even three pieces.
I noticed that some home builds contain arduino with adafruit script or something like that.
I wonder what is it for?
After all, the led strip can be controlled via gpio.

Good day Folks!
Just wondering what's the better solution for SK6812 ?
Should I start thinking about additional piece of hardware like like arduino to drive my leds?
Im asking coz on my end black bar detection is rather slow so I was wondering if arduino can help with that?
Regards! -
🤔 I can see 2.0.14 is out...
-
Did you try diffrient gpio?
-
Dear Lighting-guy77 I'd like to thank You for all help provided last night.
For all your time and effort! Hyperion behaves a way better now, but isn't perfect yet.
I was playing with diffrent gpio's pins and I can confirm now what no 18 is dead. Will organize another RPI 4 to confirm my diagnosis that something is wrong with Raspberry.
Once again - T H A N K Y O U ‼️ -
and... no progress my man.
I strongly believe now it has to b a raspberry fault
Don't really understand why it's behave like this.
Nothing been changed, as i mentioned i made a fresh install on hyperion and no progress what so ever.
When picture is bright all seems to b ok, with darker pictures - lottery.
Did even check voltage on both ends of my led strip - all good. -
Here's my power plant for my hyperion ;]
WABTU Regulated Switching Universal Transformer -
That's odd. I never played with those settings... 🤦
Settings applied.. will see. Fingers crossed! -
I think you speak chinesee to me 😁
I need to dig how to get into the file... but!
Maybe issue is with signal detectin area?
Seems to be very tight to me...SPI did not start... also i can not see many options to play with
-
Is, it correct? 🤔
-
Im using GPIO 19 because GPIO18 not working at all.
Switched just now to double check.. no response via GPIO18...
Raspberry fault? 🧐
