It's driven via GPIO 19.

Just reinstall all from scratch, fresh pendrive, fresh hyperbian still same.. with darker pictures hyperion seems to be late.
Out od ideas now
To be honest I have no idea how to run my leds via SPI or PWM

thats how you search and fix mallfunctions, rule out what is NOT the problem and you will find it
To be totally honest with You I did try all possibilities and to be frank I'm running out of ideas. I even switched capture cards number of times to exclude issues with them 🤦
What's interesting is that when picture is at full screen all seems to be fine 😁
Thanks for prompt reply.
According to htop my raspberry does basically nothing.
Temperatures (at highest) 33C,
so I belive it has to be a software issue. I'd like to change grabbing area (if possible), also noticed that when black bar detection is on all hyperion behaves very slow. The only solution im thinking about now is reinstall all from scratch and compare results.
BTW: what's your blackbar settings? Can I see them?
Did try with letterbox settings, default.. all same results ;]
Thanks i did check it.
No improvement 😐
Thanks, I did try all possibilities and no results.
Please have a look at the video:

Good evening.
I am using the latest version of Hyperion using sk6812nw. 0 po
Recently, I noticed that the leds in certain parts of the image light up later than they should.
Most often this happens when the screen image is quite dark and very bright areas suddenly appear. It happens that the reaction time is up to a second.
I think I have tried all of settings.
My grabber is set to 25 fps. It's too much? Not enough? Maybe the problem lies elsewhere?
The hardware Hyperion runs on a raspberry pi 4 8gb and it is on a usb 3.00 flash drive
Has any of the honorable forum members had a similar problem?
You're a star!
Many thanks. Will play with it !
I was wondering... I have my hyperion working behind my tv. Also i have a few esp32. My question is, can I extend the lighting by adding two additional edges (left and right) to the hyperion via esp32? I'd like to put additional strips behind front speakers...
Hi, Source of your video isn't really important.
If this is an external device like nvidia shield or another android box you will need to build the whole setup with raspberry pi, grabber etc... I think. Hope there's an easier way to help you out ;]
Thank You, but. Do I need the splitter if for all hdmi inputs I use Onkyo av receiver?
Regards
Hello Folks!
Since a week Im facing issues with capture card.
Gets hot and hyperion loses connection with it.

Was wondering if someone could recommend some good capture card?
regards!
Same here! I'm stuck with it! Looking for a solution since a year now 🙈
Just log in to your pi via ssh.. You know login pi password raspberry.
Greetings Folks!
I have an issue I will try to describe as acurate as I can.
RPi 4 8GB + hyperion 2.0.12 + zasluke video 4k capture card + SK6812NW.
I spotted during watching tv content with black bars i have a lag when scene on tv goes from darks to brights.
For ex, if we have a moment in forest where the top of the screen is green and after that we can see white sky - raspberry needs some time to light it up.
Will try to catch it on video and will post it here.
Not a big deal, but pisses me off a little
Regards!
Would be fine if could tell us what did you do to solve it?
How did you connect your leds?
How do you control them? Via GPIO or adurino?
What led strip it is?
Throw us some more information ;]
Hi!
Get hyperbian then install kodi under ;]
Have you try with effect configurator?
Paulchen-Panther advised me that You could try with diffrent GPIO
Here's the precious knowlege:
On the Pi 4B and 400 (and CM4) you have two pairs of PWM channels.
Those are:
PWM0_0 available on GPIO 12, 18 or 52.
PWM0_1 available on GPIO 13, 19, 45 or 53
PWM1_0 available on GPIO 40
PWM1_1 available on GPIO 41
Only GPIOs 12, 13, 18 and 19 are brought out to the 40-pin header. So you really only have two PWMs usable.
