I am about to order all the necessary stuff to build myself an ambilight again after having owned one some time ago for my old 1080p TV. Despite reading lots of threads, there is one thing I am not completely sure about yet (and several threads seem to point in opposite directions). Is it possible to have an ambilight while also using a mix of 4k HDR and SDR content without buying the stupidly expensive HDfury? If yes, which solution is the best for this?
