but it won't be soon.
good luck with that man, don't worry and take it easy and take your time, we will all be here when you come back

i have 2 of these>> https://xolorspace.com/product…th-downscaler-4k-to-1080p
if i use my TVIP box i can use the remote of my samsung tv to go into all kind of settings of my TVIP box.
No it dont support CEC/ARC. Is there any that does?
difficult to find, only the more expensive ones do like 3 way splitters, the LOOP capture devices normally don't have this feature .
think about at least 30 dollars, and don't forget to activate CEC settings in Hyperion.NG
I want to install HyperBian and connect a HDMI USB capture card.
if you want to have good results then, go for a quadcore CPU thats not the PI0
My Raspberry Pi 3 died yesterday
are you sure it really died
it happened to me before that i burnt down SD card into the slot, after replacing the SD card the Raspi worked again.
with a faulty SD card it does nothing so it seems to be dead.
what Lord-Grey said.
You need to run hyperion as root with this configuration (device 'ws281x) PWM
go to your terminal
sudo nano /etc/systemd/system/hyperiond@.service
Remove the User sessionline and save with CTRL+O and exit CTRL+x.
Don't forget to reboot the Raspi after this
The LED stripe only has a data cable, no clock.
you can run it from PWM or SPI,
because you said you are using a WS2811 before.
mostly everyone connects to PWM (GPIO18) > if you do that then switch off audio in config.txt
# Enable audio (loads snd_bcm2835)
#dtparam=audio=on
maybe you also need a logic levelshifter after this to boost the data signal
I have connected the LED stripe with the Raspberry pins 19 and 20, opened HyperCon and installed Hyprion on the Raspberry with it.
it have to be pin 19 ( GPIO 10) and pin 23 ( GPIO 11)
on my work i use MFA from microsoft, multi factor authentication
log-in with code and smartphone, works very well
I'm also wondering if I could re-purpose an old smartphone as the webcam.
that is also a good idea, maybe you can use the UCB-C connection for that to transport the video. USB-C is also for transport of data upto 6 GB/sec.
if you really want to go this route, look for our diehard member AmbiMod , he's really going down under in things and makes all kind of manuals to install all kind of software and make hardware work on Hyperion and the Raspi.
hence, he is french and a little crazy so use the translating
Lets see what I can do if I can find a decent camera
I also experimented with it, it sure would be much easyer to go the "cameraroute" and evade all kind of HDMI problems that you can have with directly live feed.
the only thing is the Raspi is not that strong to run a OS, run hyperion, steer the lights. and render the image thats coming in.
all that processes using a lot of recource from your PI, even the newest one PI4 2GB >> which don't run Hyperion good.
if that would be the case that would be awesome
done all that, will see how it goes, mention me in a thread at soempoint and will see if it works
and did it work?
record it and prove us wrong i would say.
hey mate, i think it has to do with logging in on your account.
i was automatically logged out when they switched to Woltlab, so i logged in on Opera browser ( on several devices) and on my smartphone and Tablet.
they are all using the same kind of browser that runs on Opera.
the moment i did that i had like 35 Notifications, then i toned it down a little in settings.
so what i would do is removing all the notification settings (save) , then log out and log in again and reset them .
then it has to work.
it has to do with JavaScript TypeError.
try to connect with java module off in browser/try another browser >> you can also connect with smartphone browser to WebUI
password of Hyperion is default when you reinstalled the software.
this means hyperion is NOT runnning...
omg so thats the explanation.
increase gamma over 2,3 and test again.
Only change the RGB/GBR/GRB settings at Led settings
don't change the colours from default.
for begin of testing that is.
You can do this in Remote control section to test your settings.
Rebooted both. No difference.
i've seen it before, use a LAN cable and/or diffrent browser and test again.
sometimes WIFI can be a really pain in the butt.
