Thanks for the fast reply, I will give this a try!

I just completed the setup on my tv, but i wanted to control my lights from my tv remote.I got a flirc ir USB laying around and thought this might come in use.

I'm still new to raspberry and Linux so I have no idea if its possible.
For example if its possible to map some effects or colors to the tv remote, so I don't meet to use the app or pc.

I'm happy to get all the help I can get!
