just FYI:
If you are trying to configure: "Bus 001 Device 005: ID eb1a:2861 eMPIA Technology, Inc" with no success (just blank test screen with green line @ bottom) then problem is input selection:

MUST BE "1" not zero, when connection is to yellow cinch "!!!
Also, no powered USB HUB is required just put this param into /boot/config.txt : "max_usb_current=1" without quotes.
