Reacquire capture card without reboot

    Hey Everyone,


    I've got my setup 95% ready to go, but I have one last question before final installation. If the system is up and running and I unplug the capture card USB and plug it back in, how do I get Hyperion to re-recognize the capture is there without rebooting the system?

    somewhere here somebody made a script for auto recognize the USB capturing device when extracted/ inserted again ( or vanishing and reappearing)


    HYperion.NG runs, when vanishing/reappearing USB capturing happens then service reboots> thus HYperion.NG reboots.

    Thanks for the tip! Why is this feature an add-on rather than part of the base install? Are there more circumstances where this behavior is unwanted rather than desired? Just checking.
