Hyperion with Fire TV

    Is it possible to get Hyperion to work without the hdmi splitter/raspberry pi route? I've installed on my own tv going this route but of course can only have it active if using an hdmi input source. My brother in law wants to know if he can have it work on his tv when using Netflix or hulu app on his fire tv. I was thinking going the wled route like in this video. Thoughts?

    u can use Hyperion screen capture app for it, but doesn't work when streaming Netflix or Amazon, for YT/TV sources it works nice.

    I have it myself so tested what it does and doesn't/

    if you want to duplicate signals/multiply then you need HDMI devices that supports HDCP2.2 ( some kind of DRM is built in) so you are back to USB AV/HDMI grabbers



    U can also go for the camera route, connect a USB cam as capture USB source, setup is much more time demanding :)
