So I only just got Hyperion running today when I found out I could run it directly on my TV. I had read about it before but as saw raspberry pie etc I didn't look any further. I'm definitely kicking myself now though! This is absolutely amazing, and I haven't even calibrated or anything at all.
The lights are A couple hue play bars, bulbs and a strip. They're mounted inside a cabinet I built around the tv because I want to be able to use the lights while my girlfriend sleeps lol. It's actually worked out much much better than I had expected! It's in prototype stages right now, so I've got a medium shower curtain cut up and infront of the lights as a diffusion layer. Eventually I'll find something nicer to use, but this definitely shows me it's worth going forward with! I really wish I didn't buy a govee setup months back, definitely should have persued Hyperion instead. Ah well, I'm here now and here to stay.
