Trying to setup a meeting with Hyperion and instance on an a Rpi3b with a sk6812

  • So I purchased a PSU 40a at 5v and I'm trying to get a sting of bft sk6812 led to run with Hyperion. I have tired using gpio18 as well as the gpio 10 an 9. Hyperion won't detect the leds.

I am l running a common ground. My psu is showing a resistance of about 50ohms between ground and vin.... I'm thinking this is my problem. Just looking for some advice.

When I meter on the led string between vin and data I see 0v......from data to ground I'm seeing 5v, seems off to me, i that isn't right.

Can someone tell me what the standby voltage on the data line should be with an sk6812? I I'm guessing 0v

...but I currently have 5v. I'm. Guessing a shirt on my psu or a bad led string.

    Again looking for advice
