Rpi3b+ with picam V2 Not working properly

Hello! I have a rpi 3b+ with hyperbian installed, to get camera->Ambilight. I used an old USB webcam and the image quality was not good, so I bought a picam V2. At first, hyperion was not getting any video input. (Libcamera-hello got video input). I then used "sudo libcamerify hyperiond" to run hyperion and I finally got video input, but now I struggle to set any settings for my camera like white balance etc. Can anyone help me please? Is libcamerify even the go-to option to get video input?
