A couple of years ago I tried to setup hyperion with a raspberry pi, hdmi splitter, grabber and some other hardware. Didn really work out then and due to lack of time i parked the project.
I now have a mini pc (optiplex 3080) and running hyperion (platform grabbing) like a champ, untill I want to stream movies/series through plex. Plex htpc and plex desktop both glitch and stutter like there's no tomorrow and the LED's join the party. When streaming the same video through vlc, there is no issue at all.
Issue occurs on Windows and Ubuntu. The optiplex has Intel UHD 630 graphics and 8GB ram. Streaming to WLED @ 204 LED's
