ist it possible to tun hyperion on pi5? And does internal grabber work?
Yes, this it wat this post is about. If the internal grabber work i can not tell since i use a usb grabber

Unfortunately i deleted the bash file but i tried to reproduce the changes by memory...
You can find the install script and the missing lib files here:
After running libreelec.sh, the files of the folder "missing libs" need to be copied to the hyperion/lib folder
This link doesn´t help if you are running LibreELEC i guess..
What has helped though was your post here: Install Hyperion.ng on LibreELEC x86_64/RPi (inoffiziell/unofficially)
I adapted the libreelec.sh to my needs because the RPI5 had to be added of course...

This brings me to the next issue:
/storage/hyperion/bin/hyperiond: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Any ideas what to do?
OK....i copied the missing files from my debian system... hyperion seems to run 
...but LEDs are not lighting up as expected
..LEDS not working was actually a ground issue...
Hyperion works fine on RPI5 with Libreelec!
Has anybody successfully running hyperion on a RPI5 running LibreELEC?
I tried to install the latest release (Hyperion-2.0.15-Linux-armv7l.tar.gz) but it wont start.
Trying to start i manually results in this: -sh: /storage/hyperion/bin/hyperiond: not found
Help or info is appreciated
So far most users connect PIN 13 IN to PIN 13 Out and have had success.
Jep, but not in this case. In other layouts Pin 17 is connected to ground but on this board all unused connections are not connected to anything.
It was time to finally upgrade my RPi with the latest libreelec. I hesitated all this time because of loosing the ability to use hyperion with the internal grabber.
Now i had to buy a HDMI splitter (a usb HDMI grabber i already had lying around). Which makes for now a very cluttered setup because of all these cables 
I bought the cheapest splitter i could find on amazon only to find out, that it doesn´t support CEC. 
So what does a hacker do when something doesn´t work the way it should? Opening the device of course!
The chip is a macrosilicon ms9332 which indeed does not support CEC but the pins necessary for CEC (13,17) a not connected at the board.
So the solution was to connect these pins from the HDMI input to output 1.
