    Thanks Mike72 connecting the 13th pin did the trick and worked like a charm.


    Took a quick picture in case it helps anyone else.

    Be wary that It does require quite a steady hand, flux and ideally a multimeter to make sure you didn't bridge anything else.

    You sir are a super star. Been hunting for this answer of ages. I have a grabber that's had it's day, and a splitter, wanted a grabber with loop, but couldn't find any with cec. Here is my fix. Thank you.

    I have a Pi2 loaded with Hyperbian, all was working well.


    Sorted issues with my GPIO, and all seemed fine.


    Now my screen capture is very messy, looks like interference, but I have checked all connections.....


    Do you think my grabber is dying? It was a cheap purchase and it gets very very hot, so if it needs replacing that ins't a massive issue.


    If I do need to replace I'd like a version that has a loop, ie I can remove the splitter, but I'd like CEC support. Any recomandations for here in the UK??

    So managed to find some time to test.....and I found the issue...


    It was down to the rubush connection that the GPIO pins have. Not sure if the pins were corroded or the push on pin wasnt crimped well, but I jiggled, wiggled and got it all working.

    Hello all.


    I have has a Pi4 running Raspberry Pi OS, Kodi and Hyperion working great for months.


    I have acquired an Xbox Series S and planned to use that as my media centre with kodi.


    The old setup uses a usb capture, HDMI splitter and all was perfect.


    I have tried to setup a Hyperbian image on an old Pi2, with everything plugged in the same.


    Hyperion tells me that all is capturing, but I'm not getting output to the LEDS. Any ideas whay I have screwed up??


    BTW both are running on 2.0.15 and I exported from the old Pi4 setup and imported to the new Pi2 Hyperbian setup.

    I have a raspberry Pi 4 running Raspberry Pi OS, kodi and Hyperion Alpha 9.


    I run WS2801's perfectly for the past year or so....


    I have voltage out of the PSU, and at the LED strip.


    I did some sudo updates/upgrades, but I have also changed my remote setup using CEC. Long and short my LED's has stopped working, but all seems right with Hyperion.


    My question is, has the updates/upgrades stopped something working, or has my CEC changes screwed up the grabber?


    Can anyone assist??

    Right this is sorted now.


    After your input it seemed thatone link in the chain was an issue, so when as requested I spotted that one connectors wires to the Pi didnt align corrently, so re-jigged and all is working great.
