Raspberry pi 4 ambilight hyperion

Hi all

Could someone tell me if it is usefull to have hyperion on the rpi4? Could not find a clear topic about this.

I don't use LibreELEC but just I use it with the usbgrabber. The hardware is just faster, for example the "Size decimation" is limited on older hardware:

PI 1= 7 & the fastest update frequency ( at smoothing section) is 30Hz
PI 3= 4
PI 4= 2

So I guess Hyperion can use better source info with faster hardware for more accurate colors.
