My setup is running properly now but one thing bugs me. Most of the time the led‘s are off when they supposed to show anything. The to a pretty good job at showing things that are bright but if anything isn‘t superbright, the LED‘s are just off.
My setup:
webOS PicCap Grabber
Hyperion
ESP32
WLED
SK6812/NW
Here is a short Video of Westworld in Dolby Vision:
HDR stream is no doubt darker then “normal” 4K without HDR
First test with dolby vision off, also Hyperion can not cope with HDR collour pallet si the colours will be diffrent then anyway
Check the live video provided by PicCap in Hyperion.
With SDR, this should correspond to the TV picture. With HDR and DolbyVision, the colors and brightness often have to be adjusted.
Does Hyperion also run on the TV?
Have you already calibrated the colors?
You can also adjust the gamma values. Smaller values result in brighter LEDs.
